I've been running 5e since November 2018. I'm an old AD&D player, starting in the 80s, and skipped 3e since I was shifting out of RIFTS into GURPS, and completely missed 4e.
A while ago I snatched up the FantasyCraft hardback, and I really like what I see here; It's a rebuild of D&D 3rd edition that gives the DM and players a ton of options.
